The youth mental health crisis doesn't need more awareness.

It needs solutions that work.

We're a nonprofit who has reached over 4,000,000 people by working with digital platforms to provide free, evidence-based interventions.

We’ve worked with some of the largest online platforms in the world:

We believe positive change happens when you meet people where they are.

We reach young people on the platforms they already use with free, evidence-based digital
mental health interventions.

Intercept

Through keyword detection and targeted ad placement, we intercept youth who are signaling they need help. Depression, suicidal thoughts, and eating disorders are just a few of the mental health concerns we detect.

Redirect

We want to ensure help is always free and one click away. With Koko, we can redirect young people to hundreds of helplines, peer-to-peer support, or various self-help courses.

Partner

By partnering with online platforms, we can reach young people where they are and keep them safe. Our partner integrations ensure youth can get help on the sites they already use and platforms can ensure youth use their sites safely.

"A lot of people express online that they are struggling, and we don’t yet have a good understanding of how best to provide help and support. Koko is filling this gap and providing scientifically-supported tools to help those who are struggling. They’re figuring out what works best and then putting it to work to help people."

Our bold yet clear mission is to help end the youth mental health crisis by reaching young people where they are.

To address young people seeking harmful content online, we provide assistance by redirecting at-risk users to free helplines, peer support, and self-help courses—doing so in an ethical and responsible manner. Read More about our ethical commitments.
