As president and CEO of HopeLab, Margaret leads a multidisciplinary team combining behavioral science, user-centered design, and partnerships with innovative companies to create technologies and products that help people thrive. Before joining HopeLab, Margaret spent 17 years at the California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) in a number of roles, including director of public financing and policy and director of the Innovations for the Underserved program. She holds an BA from Princeton University and an MA from Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Fraser Kelton, is a General Partner at Spark Capital and was previously the Head of Product at OpenAI. With a background as a co-founder of an AI startup that was acquired by Airbnb, Fraser brings extensive expertise in AI products to the board.

Mike is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist who currently focuses on addressing the global mental health crisis through his LiveBetter Foundation, which supports non-profits working on mental health at scale. His entrepreneurial journey, which began at age 15, includes founding LiveBetter (acquired by Ginger.io/Headspace Corporate) and co-founding AppNexus, an online advertising exchange that was acquired by AT&T for $1.6B, while also serving on the boards of several mental health organizations including Action for Happiness and Mindful Philanthropy.”

Gina Sanders is Founder and CEO of GINA’S COLLECTIVE, an Advisory providing coaching, connections, and creativity to tech-enabled nonprofit startups. She also serves as a Venture Partner at independent venture capital firm Advance Venture Partners, and as an Advisor to Y Combinator’s nonprofit startups. Previously, Ms. Sanders was President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairchild Fashion Media, a diversified trade and consumer media company. A 29-year veteran of Condé Nast, Ms. Sanders previously served as Vice President and Publisher of Lucky, as the founding Vice President and Publisher of Teen Vogue, and as Vice President and Publisher of Gourmet and Details.
Associate Professor of Medical Social Sciences, Pediatrics, & Psychology, Northwestern
Jessica L. Schleider, Ph.D. is the Founding Director of the Lab for Scalable Mental Health and Associate Professor of Medical Social Sciences, Pediatrics, and Psychology at Northwestern University. A clinical psychologist by training, her professional mission is to build, test, and disseminate scalable, evidence-based mental health solutions that bridge gaps in mental health systems, with a focus on single-session interventions (SSIs) for underserved youth. She has published >150 scientific papers and chapters in this domain, as well as three books; secured >$9 million in research funding to advance the science and scaling of SSIs; and partners with cross-sector organizations to deploy science-driven SSIs to thousands of youth across the globe.

Stephen Schueller, PhD is a Professor of Psychological Science and Informatics at the University of California, Irvine. As a clinical psychologist and mental health services researcher, Dr. Schueller’s work focuses on how technology can improve mental health services by expanding access and improving accessibility. This includes the development, evaluation, and implementation of technologies to support mental health service delivery.

Melissa C. Thomas-Hunt is Vice Dean and John Forbes Distinguished Professor of Business Administration at the Darden School of Business and Professor of Public Policy at the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. She is the former Head of Global Diversity and Belonging at Airbnb, and for over 25 years, she has taught MBAs and executives leadership, team dynamics, and negotiations and conducted research on connection and the factors that unleash, leverage, and amplify the contributions made by individuals in teams.

Rosalind Picard is the Grover M. Hermann Professor in Health Sciences and Technology at MIT. She is founder and director of the Affective Computing Research group in the Media Lab, where her team’s work has made contributions to artificial intelligence, wearable computing, human-computer interaction, and human health and wellbeing. She is also co-founder of two businesses, Empatica and Affectiva.
